The Person Behind the Practice

Tracey Blacklock is a qualified ADHD screener and SEN specialist with over 25 years’ experience in education. She holds enhanced DBS clearance and is committed to supporting families with clarity, trust, and expertise.

Qualifications and Training:

MA Special Needs & Inclusive Education
PGCE focused on the role of the SENCo
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Digital Technology & Computer Science
BSc in Management Studies
ADHD Assessment Training - Diagnosis and Management of Adult ADHD
Level 7 Advanced Diploma in TA, Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia
Currently studying for a Level 7 Diploma in Assessment and Intervention for Dyslexia and Literacy Difficulties (to be awarded in Oct 2027).

Professional approach

Through Bridge Assessment Services, Tracey provides confidential, non-diagnostic ADHD screenings for children, teenagers, and adults. All screenings follow recognised frameworks and are aligned with NICE and NHS guidance. Each assessment includes validated screening tools, a one-to-one consultation, and a clear written report outlining practical strategies and appropriate next steps.

Experience and insight

Tracey has worked across mainstream and specialist settings in the UK and internationally, including roles in Brunei, China, and Singapore. This has given her strong insight into a wide range of learning needs and family contexts. Alongside her professional experience, she is also a mother of four and has personal experience supporting children with ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia.

This combination of professional expertise and lived experience allows Tracey to offer support that is both informed and empathetic.
